The Ant and the Grasshopper

Once upon a time, in a beautiful meadow, there lived two creatures. The first was an ant named Anton who was hardworking and always saved his food for the winter. The other was a grasshopper named Greg, who was carefree and spent all day singing and playing.

One day, Greg approached Anton and asked, "Hey Anton, why do you work so hard and never seem to have any fun?"

Anton replied, "I work hard to save food for the winter because when the cold comes, food is scarce and I need to be prepared."

Greg laughed, "Why worry about the winter? It is so far away, and I prefer to live in the moment and enjoy life."

The summer passed and the fall came. The leaves started to fall, and the days got shorter and colder. One day, Greg was feeling the chill and asked Anton for some food. But Anton replied, "I'm sorry, Greg, I saved my food for the winter, and there is none left for you."

Greg was shocked and started to realize the importance of preparation. He saw the wisdom in Anton's ways and decided to follow his example. From that day on, Greg learned the value of hard work and started to prepare for the winter.

When the winter finally arrived, Greg was warm and well-fed, while many other grasshoppers were cold and hungry.

The moral of the story is that it is always better to be prepared for the future and work hard, rather than live in the moment and be caught off guard. So, always plan ahead and work hard, and you will always be ready for whatever life throws your way.
