“Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life changed into miserable and that she didn’t realize how she changed into going to make it. She turned uninterested in fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed simply as one problem was solved, every other one soon observed.
Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He stuffed 3 pots with water and positioned each on a high fire. Once the three pots started to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs inside the 2d pot, and ground espresso beans inside the 1/3 pot.

He then let them sit and boil, without announcing a word to his daughter. The daughter moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he changed to do.
After twenty mins he became off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and located them in a bowl. He pulled the boiled eggs out and positioned them in a bowl.
He then ladled the espresso out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he asked. ‘Daughter, what do you see?’
‘Potatoes, eggs, and espresso,’ she hastily answered.
‘Look closer,’ he said, ‘and touch the potatoes.’ She did and referred to that they were gentle. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she located the tough-boiled egg. Finally, he requested her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a grin to her face.
‘Father, what does this suggest?’ she asked.
He then defined that the potatoes, the eggs, and the espresso beans had never confronted the same adversity– the boiling water.
However, each one reacted in another way.
The potato went in robust, complex, and unrelenting, however, in boiling water, it became smooth and weak.
The egg turned fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid indoors until it became positioned inside the boiling water. Then the internal of the egg became hard.
However, the floor espresso beans have been specific. After they had been exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.
‘Which are you,’ he asked his daughter. ‘When adversity knocks on your door, how do you reply? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean?’
